Vehicle Body Technician Year 1

  • Health & Safety
  • Workplace policies and procedures
  • Communication
  • Basic tools and equipment
  • Strip and fit procedures

Year 2

  • Strip & fit non–structural components
  • Replacement of non–structural components and welded panels
  • Repair of non–structural panels

Year 3

  • Repair structural panels
  • Remove and replace structural panels
  • Rectification of chassis misalignment

Qualifications

On completion of the two year Apprenticeship Programme you will receive the following qualifications:-

  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Body Repair Operations
  • Technical Certificate Level 2
  • Key Skills Level 1 in Communication, Application of Number and IT

On completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship you will receive the following qualifications:-

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair Operations
  • Technical Certificate Level 3
  • Key Skills Level 2 in Communication and Application of Number
