Year 1
- Health & Safety
- Workplace Policies and Procedures
- Communication
- Basic Tools & Equipment
- Preparation of Components
- Mastering techniques
Year 2
- Preparation of new and repaired Components for Priming
- Application of foundation materials
- Rectification of Paint Defects by Polishing
- Application of foundation materials and preparation for Top Coat Finish
Year 3
- Application of Non – Metallic Top Coat Finishes
- Application of Metallic Clear over Base Finishes
- Rectification of paint defects and faults
Qualifications
On completion of the two year Apprenticeship Programme you will receive the following qualifications:-
- NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Refinishing Operations
- Technical Certificate Level 2
- Key Skills Level 1 in Communication, Application of Number and IT
On completion of the Advanced Apprenticeship you will receive the following:-
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Refinishing Operations
- Technical Certificate Level 3
- Key Skills Level 2 in Communication and Application of Number
